Youth Christmas Party
All youth (7th-12th grade) are invited to celebrate Christmas together! Join us for a progressive dinner and gift exchange on Sunday, Dec. 14th from 4:30-8:30 pm. We will start at The McGlone's house for appetizers, then head to the Overby's house for our main course, and finally head to the Stewart's for dessert and our gift exchange.
Drop-off is at church at 4:30 pm and pick-up will be at the Stewart's at 8:10 pm or back at church at 8:30 pm (make sure to let Beth know where you will be picking up your youth).
All you need to bring is a gift for the gift exchange that is no more than $15 in value (try to avoid bringing gift cards). Wear fun Christmas attire!

Young Adults Tacky Light Tour
Join us in celebrating the Christmas season with a Young Adults Tacky Light Tour in RVA led by Beth & Colin Bailey! We will meet at the church parking lot on Sunday, Dec. 21st by 4 pm and head down to RVA for dinner at ZZQ and to see some holiday lights around town. All are welcome & bring a friend!
Time: 4:00-9:30 pm (may be later depending on traffic)
What to Bring: Snacks + Drinks (non-alcoholic only) + Wear fun Christmas gear/clothing!

A Night of Stars
A Night of Stars: January 4th, 5pm-7pm
Join us for an evening of fellowship that is sure to dazzle! On Sunday, January 4th we will gather for a church-wide variety show and dinner.
All ages are encouraged to sign up to participate in the show! You may sing, dance, play an instrument, perform a skit....the options are endless.
Youth Passport Choices
All youth (completed 6th-12th grade) are invited to attend Passport Choices this summer! We are heading to Converse University in Spartanburg, SC for the week of July 12-17th.

Young Adults Friendsgiving Dessert Party
Save the date for a fun potluck Friendsgiving Dessert Party! All college students and young adults are invited to bring their favorite dessert (Thanksgiving themed or not) to share. We will sample each of them and have some fun with some games and fellowship. A sign-up will come out soon!

Women's Mission Group
Please join us for the Women's Mission Group's meeting on Monday, November 10th at 1:00 in the Church's Blue Room. We meet on the 2nd Monday of every month. Most months we have a guest speaker and this month we will host Mr. Paul Scott. Mr. Scott will be sharing his experience in the U. S. Military. We also invite you to join our meeting. You can attend just for Mr. Scott's discussion or better yet, join us for our meeting. We'd love to see you! Contact Phyllis Marcom with any questions you may have. Hope to see you soon!!

SNY Missions
All youth (7th-12th grade) are invited to Sunday Night Youth Missions for dinner and cooking for our unhoused neighbors in our community!
Interest Meeting for Camino de Santiago Pilgrimage 2027
All are invited to an initial interest meeting on November 2nd at 12:30pm (Blue room) to learn more about el Camino de Santiago, a pilgrimage trip that ends at the Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela in northwestern Spain. At this meeting we will discuss route details and timing for the trip (Spring 2027) as well as details regarding the physical nature of the pilgrimage and financial commitment. If you are interested in learning more about this trip, please make plans to attend or reach out to Erin Silver. Attending this meeting is a great way to find out if this trip is right for you before making the commitment to go! Visit the link below for some basic information about the pilgrimage!
Trunk or Treat
Trunk or Treat is Sunday, October 26th at 4 pm! Join us for a fun afternoon of games, cotton candy, and trunk-or-treating. Wear your costume, decorate a trunk, and/or sign up to help with games.
Youth only: Sign up at the link below to help with games/face painting.
Potter's House Preschool and FXBG Baptist Church Families: Sign up at the link below to decorate your trunk and pass out candy or help at the food station. If you are providing a trunk, we encourage you to make it interactive (with a game or fun feature!).
If you are providing a trunk, helping with the games, or passing out food, please arrive to the church parking lot by 3:45 pm. You can arrive as early as 3 pm to start decorating your trunk.

SNY Bonfire
All youth (7th-12th grade) are invited to SNY Bonfire Night! We will meet at church, drive the church bus over to Silver Ridge Farm, eat dinner, and have a bonfire with s'mores. Join us for fun fellowship together!
Location: Silver Ridge Farm
Time: 5:45-8 pm
Drop-Off: at the church parking lot by 5:45 pm; if can't get there by that time, drop-off is at Silver Ridge Farm at 6 pm
Pick-Up: at the church parking lot at 8 pm. If you need to pick up earlier, pick up at Silver Ridge Farm & text Beth (804-229-6305).
